El aluminio puede ser difícil de soldar y atornillar. Con esto en mente, se desarrolló una técnica de remachado/espiga para el proyecto Rivet. También fue una forma de experimentar con diferentes variaciones de ensamblaje visual. El diseño sencillo se corta con láser y se martilla a mano, lo que lo sitúa en una categoría entre la artesanía y la producción industrial.
The joinery on this table looks so clean from across the room—you can really see the care in how the metal meets without ugly screws. Understated but sturdy, and the finish feels smooth to the touch.
