Spent a whole afternoon on the grass with this blanket and the 100% cotton weave handled everything from sandwiches to a toddler's juice spill without soaking through. It folds up surprisingly compact for how much ground it covers, and the mirage pattern makes it easy to spot from across the park.

The weave is tight enough that crumbs don't fall through to the ground, which I didn't expect from a cotton blanket. It's held up well through a few beach trips and still feels soft against my skin, no scratchy fibers at all.
