Un pezzo versatile con due lati distinti, il suo design trae ispirazione da Iabiso̱waꞌ ishtalakchiꞌ (giarrettiere) — fasce perlate indossate sotto il ginocchio dagli uomini Chickasaw nel XVIII e XIX secolo. Probabilmente realizzata da un artista Potawatomi o da un artista delle tribù dei Grandi Laghi, il motivo è reinterpretato come un motivo ascendente in omaggio a un caro amico della tribù Potawatomi.
