I’m not usually one for garden knick-knacks, but this toad’s got real personality—sits there like he’s been guarding the ferns forever. The cast concrete feels solid and heavy, and the aged finish blends right in with the mossy corner I put him in.
The cast concrete body has real weight to it, so it doesn’t tip over even in a strong gust. I’ve got him half-buried by the hostas, and that aged finish blends right in with the old stones.
The casting has a nice weathered texture that picks up sunlight well, and it's got some real weight to it so it hasn't tipped over in a storm. I only wish the mossy green tint were a bit more pronounced in person, but it still looks charming by the hostas.
