Used it as a plant stand for a few weeks and the teak still looks just as rich as the day it arrived, which is rare for wood furniture. The surface is perfectly flat for the pot and solid enough that I don't worry about it tipping.
The little ones have been using it every morning to reach the sink, and the wide, stable base gives me total peace of mind while they balance. It also doubles as a perfect plant stand by the window, which is a nice bonus. The teak has a lovely natural grain that fits right into our living room.
The teak finish is smooth and warm to the touch, which makes it feel more like a piece of decor than a utility item. My toddler grabbed it himself to reach the sink and didn’t wobble once, so it’s doing double duty as a confidence booster.
