Lighting this candle conjures the scent of forest wind — crisp, smoky, and green. As it burns, it fills the room with grounding notes of Vetiver, Douglas Fir, Angelica Root, and a touch of Basil, quieting the noise and bringing you back to center.
The basil note worried me at first but it just softens the fir into something less like a car air freshener and more like actual woods after rain. Vetiver keeps it grounded without going heavy, and it burns clean enough that I forget it's lit until the room smells like a hike.
I've been burning this in my office every evening and the Douglas fir really does come through like cold air off a tree line. The smoke note stays subtle instead of turning into a campfire, which is what usually ruins forest candles for me.
