Bought this for a little haworthia and the 40cm width gives it so much room to spread out. The saucer catches every drop when I water, so no rings on my windowsill anymore.
The unglazed clay actually pulls moisture away from the soil, which my little cactus collection desperately needed. It's a nice wide 40cm footprint, so the shallow roots have room to spread without sitting in wet dirt.
My aloe has been thriving in this bowl for a month now, and I love that the clay lets the soil actually breathe between waterings. The organic shape looks beautiful on my windowsill, and the saucer catches runoff without any fuss.
