The hand-painted details really pop on my table, and it’s held up perfectly through daily salad and dessert use. You can tell it’s made by hand in Egypt—the glaze has this lovely, subtle depth that just feels special.
The plate’s slightly uneven edges and glossy finish feel genuinely handmade, which makes it feel more special than a factory piece. I’ve used it for both salad and dessert this week, and the size is perfect for either. It’s become my favorite everyday plate.
The little imperfections in the glaze are what sold me—you can tell a human hand shaped it in Fayoum. It’s been my go-to for salads and it somehow makes even a simple lunch feel special.
